The three images displayed below were selected from my work for inclusion in the 2006 German publication entitled All Allure. That volume seeks to document a “new era in erotic art,” and suggests that it has collected work that is “...the best indication of the trend of eroticism outside the mainstream. The sexy, romantic, seductive, provocative, sensual and sometimes naive charm of these images is surprising.”
The editor adds:
[The members of] the erotic counter culture...compiled in this book try to reestablish a human, creative and visual approach to the naked body and not a sheer technical one. Techniques blending photography, illustration, collage, projection, and analogue and computer manipulations create surreal image-scapes. Composition and accessories are not trying to evoke the impression that what you are seeing is happening next door. This Erotic Art creates sensual imagery in a burlesque fashion, teasing by showing less than they could, with illustrations and photos depicting an inner view of an arousing situation, and not a carnal body scan.
